Dr. Bernadete de Maria Vasconcelos

I went to a consultation with a psychiatrist, Dr. Bernadete de Maria Vasconcelos, at her clinic in the Ébano building, located in downtown Recife, Brazil. Her clinic is kind of old looking with loud staff that act like they're at home, but at least they get things done. Regardless of the appearance of the clinic, what matters is the doctor that works there. Dr. Bernadete shows great interest in my personal well-being and any historical incidents regarding stress, anxiety and trauma. She is kind and direct at the same time, letting you know what needs to be done and the steps to get better, always providing good listening skills and assimilating situations that I have been through like it was her own. She even provided her own personal number if at any time I wanted to talk to her. Highly recommend as a psychiatrist for anyone.
